The day has finally arrived to unveil the Pink Paradises’ (Pinkie for short) new paint job – yea!!!
Do you remember the ugly duckling before?
And here are pictures showing our work in progress.
Take a look at her after!
There are still some things that we need to do to finish her up, but what’s a little more work at this point – right? I’m very happy with how she looks. She turned out exactly how I envisioned she would – BEAUTIFUL!
What a wonderful job you have done Eileen! It is so pretty, perfect for glamping!
Thanks Jennifer. Remodeling the frolic has been a super fun project – she’s my one of a kind 🙂
I love her!!! Thanks for sharing. .I am embarking on a similar journey with a 1972 smokey..your results make me even more excited to get started! !!
This is absolutely adorable! Our spring project this year is to remodel our 1972 Holiday Rambler. May I ask, roughly how much it cost you to do your remodel?

Congratulations! It looks absolutely fantastic!
Thanks 🙂
She’s a beauty! It’s exciting to see the “Pink Paradise” make her debut! Do you have a destination in mind for her first outing?
Not yet. But I’m thinking next spring for sure! I’ll keep you posted 🙂
What a cutie! 🙂 may I ask what type of paint you used? We are in the process of redoing our vintage trailer as well. It probably won’t get painted till next spring but we are unsure of which type of exterior paint to use. 🙂
We used Sherwin Williams Resilience Exterior Latex (Gloss). We did have some issues with it. I’m still undecided if I’d use it on another. I would have preferred to use an oil-based paint but in NY it’s not easy to come by.
thank you for the info and if it worked for you or not. I will keep that in mind when we get ready to paint ours. 🙂
Oh my goodness, sweet friend. How BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for sharing this process. I can’t wait to see where this takes you 😉
Thank you for following along Monet! Have a great and relaxing weekend 🙂
What a transformation, she’s gorgeous, congratulations!
Thank you Sandra!
She’s a beaut alright!!!!! Now on the the next chapter of memories….
Thanks Celeta. I’m already thinking of my next project 🙂
Oh Eileen! She’s beautiful! You’ve done an incredible job. I’d love to see y’all glamping it up in the woods sometime!
Thanks Kirstin! I can’t wait to glamp! I actually go out and read, work on my blog posts, and indulge in a weekend nap in her from time to time. I don’t want all our hard work to go to waste.
